Q – Should I tell my GP I intend to see a nutritional therapist?

Q – How many appointments might I need?
A – Programmes are developed for you as an individual, so it is hard to be precise, but generally around 3 follow-up appointments are needed. The length of time between appointments may vary from person to person, but normally a month is sufficient for the body to adapt to the changes being made in each step of the programme.

Q – Do I need to take notes?
A – A report will be provided to you at the end of your first session. This will cover most topics raised and provide details of your new dietary programme.

Q – What should I wear or bring?
A – Please wear clothing you feel comfortable lying down in, preferably trousers. Bring any medication, or nutritional / herbal supplements, along to your first appointment with you.

Q – Do you use supplements, and what are they for?
A – Balance Nutrition recommend only vitamins, minerals, food, or herbal, supplements. These are natural substances, not drugs. Great care will be taken to ensure all supplements suggested complement any medication you may be taking . Supplements are used to enhance biochemical pathways and achieve your health goals in a shorter time-frame than would otherwise be possible.
